Features and Maintenance Guide for Air Filters

The air filter mesh features a corrugated honeycomb structure and is widely used in air filtration and wastewater filtration systems. During the spinning process, antibacterial agent (DEP) and mildew-inhibiting agent (TBZ) are directly blended with the PP resin raw material, endowing the resulting filter mesh with antibacterial and mildew-resistant properties. It is easy to clean and replace multiple times, and its effectiveness lasts for an extended period.

Type
The vertical air conditioner filter consists of three layers: a dust-filtering mesh, an activated-carbon mesh, and a reinforced mesh. It is recommended to replace the filter every 1–2 months.
The bedroom air conditioner filter includes an activated carbon layer and a reinforced mesh; it is recommended to replace it every 1–2 months.
Air Filter Performance

Air Filter Usage Instructions
1. The air filter in the indoor unit of an air conditioner typically lasts for 6 months under normal operating conditions.
2. If the air conditioner is used infrequently and the operating environment is good with high air cleanliness, as long as the surface of the air filter has not severely discolored (to a gray-brown color), you can remove the filter, expose it to direct sunlight for 2 hours, and gently brush off the dust on the surface (do not wash it with water). After that, it can be put back into service.
Maintenance and upkeep
Maintenance of air-conditioning filters is critical to the operation of air-conditioning units, as it directly affects indoor air quality; therefore, routine filter maintenance is an essential component of central air-conditioning system upkeep.
Maintenance methods for air filters:
1. Primary and medium-efficiency air-conditioning filters should be cleaned at least once a month. If dust accumulation is heavy, the cleaning interval should be shortened. Air-conditioning air filters should be replaced promptly in accordance with the cleaning requirements.
2. When cleaning the air conditioner filter, use warm water below 40°C and avoid rubbing during cleaning. If the filter is dirty, you can use a neutral detergent to remove stains. If the filter is only lightly soiled, simply rinse it with water.
3. After the air-conditioning filter has been thoroughly cleaned, allow any remaining water to dry completely before reinstalling it in the central air-conditioning unit. When installing the air filter, be sure to align it with the designated airflow direction indicated on the filter and follow the installation instructions precisely.
